Development of our curriculum was supported by a grant from Native Movement, but the grant is unfortunately limited, and the need to incorporate Indigenous topics in the American classroom is vast. We are currently seeking donations to fund:

  • Our continued efforts in reaching out to American schools and colleges that might benefit from utilizing the film and curriculum.
  • The creation of tactile learning kits that include harvest equipment, shells from common sea otter prey, and traditional Alaska Native fur craftwork. These kits enrich the learning experience of students studying the Alaska Native relationship with sea otters by bringing the subject matter off the digital screen and into their hands.

Can’t afford to support the project financially? Word of mouth is free, and we appreciate you getting the message out to educators who may be interested in our project.
